The Washington Guild of Goldsmiths is a non-profit organization whose members share an interest in metalsmithing, jewelry design and related arts. Started in 1978, its purpose is to provide a means for the exchange of information and ideas as well as educational opportunities for its members and the public.

Periodic workshops and lectures in technical and aesthetic aspects of metalwork and design, as well as in other areas of concern such as marketing, offered throughout the year and conducted by outstanding teachers, artists and craft professionals from all over the country .

The 2005 Member show showcased work by 65 members of the Guild. The show was held at the Target Gallery in the Torpedo Factory 105 Union Street in Alexandria, December 10, 2005 through January 14, 2006.

The Guild is a cooperative association whose members' skills, energy and enthusiasm promote its successful programs. We welcome new members who share our goals.

Membership Information:

Membership, open to all, is accepted throughout the year.
Annual dues, payable each January for the calendar year, are:
$20 full time student
$30 individual
$45 dual
$55 corporate
